The Goodfellas club is a secret society founded in 1970. Many world problems have been discussed and solved, among other things, over multiple meals and exquisite wines. We hope you enjoy this bottle with close family and friends over a lively discussion.
2021 Goodfellas blend is comprised of 43% Zinfandel, 43% Syrah, 14% Petit Verdot, all hand-harvested and crushed by the 6 founding members of the club. The wine was then aged in French and American oak for 22 months
The grapes for this exquisite wine come from our Estate Vineyard in the Geneseo AVA and the Paper Street Vineyard in the Willow Creek AVA. It was aged for 24 months in French and American oak barrels for 24 months. The resulting wine is incredibly dark and rich with concentrated fruit and integrated tannin. It is wonderful now but will continue to age gracefully over the next ten years.
Bright and fresh with lively notes of Meyer lemon and tangerine. 100% Musque Clone of Sauvignon Blanc. 26% fermented in French oak, 74% fermented in stainless steel
Our 2023 Chardonnay comes from Greengate Vineyard down in the cool climate of Edna Valley. Our Chardonnay was barrel fermented in small French oak barrels and aged on its lees for 10 months. Showing bright lemon aromas with a touch of toast and citrus fruit.
Sourced from the White Hawk Vineyard in the Los Alamos Hills, our Viognier was barrel fermented in neutral oak for 5 months. This wine shows tons of tropical fruit aromas and on the palate you will pick up hints of lush peach, pear and apricot flavors.
Our 2021 Zinfandel comes from our estate vineyard as well as several of our neighboring vineyards. The 2021 Zinfandel shows layers of cherry aromas followed by black cherry and hints of vanilla and spice on the pallet. We aged our Zinfandel in American oak barrels for 18 months and bottled it unfined and unfiltered.
Fermented slowly in stainless steel tank then laid down to French and American Oak barrels (25% new oak). Once malolactic fermentation was complete we racked the wine off its lees and let it age for 18 months.
Spanish Springs Vineyard is located on the southern end of the central coast AVA and one mile from the Pacific Ocean. This wine was aged in 100% French oak barrels for 12 months. Medium body in style, this wine has notes of red cherry, strawberry, cinnamon and a touch of toasted oak on the finish.
