Our Syrah is sourced from the esteemed White Hawk Vineyard, situated in the Los Alamos Hills. This exceptional site lies 21 miles west of the Pacific Ocean and 2 miles north of Los Alamos, at an elevation of 900 feet. The region is renowned for producing top-quality wines, benefiting from morning fog that gives way to gentle afternoon breezes, allowing the sun to slowly and perfectly ripen the grapes.
We hand-harvest the grapes, which are then fermented in small bins. Following fermentation, the wine matures for 22 months in French oak barrels. The resulting Syrah is remarkably intense, boasting vibrant blackberry and cherry flavors, culminating in a subtle hint of cracked black pepper on the finish.
Deep-pitched dark berry preserve, licorice and floral aromas, with baking spice and cola nuances in the background. Sappy and round on the palate, offering bitter cherry and cassis flavors that are given backbone and lift by a spine of juicy acidity. A smoky nuance appears on the long, spice-driven finish, where velvety tannins provide gentle closing grip.
It is delicious now but will continue to develop beautifully over the next 5-10 years.

Our 2022 Zinfandel comes from our estate vineyard as well as several of our neighboring vineyards. The 2022 Zinfandel shows layers of cherry aromas followed by black cherry and hints of vanilla and spice on the pallet. We aged our Zinfandel in American oak barrels for 16 months and bottled it unfined and unfiltered.
Fermented slowly in stainless steel tank then laid down to French and American Oak barrels (25% new oak). Once malolactic fermentation was complete we racked the wine off its lees and let it age for 22 months.
This wine was carefully crafted using a meticulous process. First, it was fermented slowly in a stainless steel tank with daily pumpovers. Then, it was aged in once-used 100% American Oak barrels. After completing malolactic fermentation, the wine was racked off its lees and aged for 24 months in barrel. Finally, it was bottled unfined and unfiltered.
This wine offers aromas of mint, cherry, and eucalyptus. On the palate, you'll find abundant red cherry and raspberry flavors with notes of cinnamon and spice.
As you enter our property, you'll be greeted by rows of Cabernet Sauvignon vines lining both sides of the driveway. We've planted two specific clones of Cabernet, clones 4 and 6, known for their small berries and the ability to produce wines with great structure, depth, and color.
In 2022, we hand-harvested the Cabernet grapes on the morning of September 28th. Following the harvest, the fruit was meticulously hand-sorted to ensure that only the highest quality grapes made it into the fermenter. After fermentation, this limited-production wine was aged in new French and American oak barrels for 22 months.
